Automated parking management system

A system comprising:

• data processing hardware;
• and
• memory hardware in communication with the data processing hardware, the memory hardware storing instructions that when executed on the data processing hardware cause the data processing hardware to perform operations comprising:
• obtaining first image data of a vehicle at a first barrier located at an entrance of a parking facility, the first image data captured via a first image sensor mounted at the entrance of the parking facility;
• after obtaining the first image data, withdrawing the first barrier to grant the vehicle passage to enter to the parking facility;
• obtaining a first vehicle identifier identifying the vehicle, the first vehicle identifier derived from the first image data;
• receiving, from a user device, a parking request requesting a parking session for the vehicle at the parking facility, the parking request comprising:
• a second vehicle identifier identifying the vehicle;
• and
• one or more parking parameters;
• determining that the first vehicle identifier matches the second vehicle identifier;
• based on determining that the vehicle identified by the first vehicle identifier and the vehicle identified by the second vehicle identifier match, generating the parking session for the vehicle based on the one or more parking parameters;
• obtaining a third vehicle identifier identifying the vehicle at a second barrier located at an exit of the parking facility, the third vehicle identifier derived from second image data captured via a second image sensor mounted at the exit of the parking facility;
• determining that the third vehicle identifier matches the first vehicle identifier and the second vehicle identifier;
• and
• based on determining that the third vehicle identifier matches the first vehicle identifier and the second vehicle identifier, withdrawing the second barrier to grant the vehicle passage to exit the parking facility and completing the parking session.
