System and method for implementing computer-simulated reality interactions between users and publications with content creation pipeline

A computer-implemented method using a standalone content-creation pipeline to automatically transform a publication into a fully rendered computer-simulated reality application for distribution on any platform, the method comprising:

• receiving, at a computing system, a publication, wherein the publication contains copyrighted content;
• analyzing, with the computing system, the publication;
• executing, with the computing system, one or more automated processes associated with the analysis, wherein the automated processes operate without any manual intervention;
• generating, using the computing system and an asset production system, one or more three-dimensional interactive media pertaining to the copyrighted content, each three-dimensional interactive media including, synchronized to the copyrighted content, one or more of a character, a three-dimensional object, an animated sequence, a full three-dimensional environment, a background sound effect, music, and character voiceover;
• assembling, with the computing system, the generated three-dimensional interactive media into a computer-simulated reality application distributable on a distribution platform;
• storing, in a database associated with the computing system, the computer-simulated reality application for distribution via a production management system;
• and
• wherein the entire pipeline occurs under continuous control of the computing system.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by a computing system, cause the computing system to use a standalone content-creation pipeline to automatically transform a publication into a computer-simulated reality application for distribution on any platform, the method comprising:

• receiving a publication that contains copyrighted content;
• analyzing the publication;
• executing one or more automated processes associated with the analysis, wherein the automated processes operate without any manual intervention;
• generating using an asset production system, one or more three-dimensional interactive media pertaining to the copyrighted content, each three-dimensional interactive media including, synchronized to the copyrighted content, one or more of a character, a three-dimensional object, an animated sequence, a full three-dimensional environment, a background sound effect, music, and a character voiceover;
• assembling the generated three-dimensional interactive media into a computer-simulated reality application distributable on a distribution platform;
• storing, in a database associated with the computing system, the computer-simulated reality application for distribution via a production management system;
• and
• wherein the entire pipeline occurs under continuous control of the computing system.
