Abstract
A method of generating an image is provided. The method includes obtaining depth information for a plurality of single-focus images, obtaining depth-wise focus information for the plurality of single-focus images based on the depth information, and generating a multi-focus image for the plurality of single-focus images based on the depth-wise focus information.

A method of generating an image, the method comprising:
- obtaining depth information for a plurality of single-focus images;
- obtaining depthwise focus information for the plurality of single-focus images based on the depth information;
- and
- generating a multi-focus image for the plurality of single-focus images based on the depthwise focus information.

An electronic device for generating an image, the electronic device comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory configured to store instructions,
- wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the electronic device to:
- obtain depth information for a plurality of single-focus images;
- obtain depthwise focus information for the plurality of single-focus images based on the depth information;
- and
- generate a multi-focus image for the plurality of single-focus images based on the depthwise focus information.
