An order book storage architecture for electronic trading systems. Entries are stored in nodes having contiguously addressable slot regions, with priority indicators that enable priority determination without searching the entire order book. Node capacity may vary by depth from the book head. Price level metadata is maintained in balanced search trees supporting neighbor-aware insertion and deletion with bounded reference writes and single-path rebalancing. A price-level accelerator embodiment provides multi-banked descriptor memory, insertion and deletion pipelines, a fix-up micro-sequencer, and tick-indexed comparators. An order-queue storage accelerator circuit embodiment provides memory (e.g., on-chip memory) with contiguously addressable slot regions, indicator storage for priority indicators, and operation logic comprising insertion logic, removal logic, or both, with optional indicator-update logic. Engine, accelerator circuit, machine-readable medium, and service embodiments are disclosed, including ordered replicated deployments, such as those applying events in a total order derived from a consensus ledger.
An order-queue storage engine for an electronic order book, the engine embodied as computer-executable instructions executed by one or more processors, as hardware circuitry, or as a combination thereof, wherein the engine comprises:
An order-queue storage accelerator circuit for an electronic order book, the accelerator circuit comprising:
A non-transitory machine-readable medium storing machine-executable content for an order-queue storage engine for an electronic order book, wherein the machine-executable content, when loaded onto a target device, causes the target device to:
A service for an electronic order book, the service embodied as computer-executable instructions executed by one or more processors, as hardware circuitry, or as a combination thereof, the service comprising:
