Systems and methods for augmented displays

A method comprising:

• capturing an image of a first calendar, the first calendar being a physical calendar, the first calendar comprising event information for a time period;
• synchronizing the event information of the first calendar with event information of a second calendar for the time period, the second calendar being a digital calendar;
• generating a visual display based on the synchronization;
• and
• providing, for display via a device, the visual display causing a display of the event information of the second calendar to be virtually displayed along with the event information for the first calendar.

A device comprising;

• a processor configured to:
• capture an image of a first calendar, the first calendar being a physical calendar, the first calendar comprising event information for a time period;
• analyze the image of the first calendar, and extract the event information;
• determine, based on the extracted event information, an occurrence and categorization for each event indicated within the image of the first calendar within the time period;
• and
• synchronize the first calendar with a second calendar, the second calendar being a digital calendar, the synchronization being performed based on the determined occurrence and categorization for the first calendar, the synchronization comprising modifying the second calendar to include the event information for the time period from the first calendar.
