Abstract

A method for reducing thefts of cargo from commercial vehicles, including anonymizing cargo related data being used in a cargo and/or fleet management system is anonymized at least at several access levels in which the cargo related data is displayed to a user. The anonymizing of the cargo related data can include masking of the cargo related data, including at least cargo type, cargo details, customer details, entire route from start to destination, and/or destination of the cargo.
