Abstract
A content generation apparatus capable of allowing a user to select an image file to be used according to a purpose. In the content generation apparatus, one or more controllers function to generate a content, generate metadata including original comparison information for grasping a change from a generation time point of a content file including the content, generate a hash value on a basis of the metadata including the original comparison information and of the content, generate a first content file which includes the content, the metadata including the original comparison information, and the hash value, and generate a second content file which includes the content and does not include the original comparison information.

An image pickup apparatus comprising:
- an image pickup part;
- an operation part that receives a user instruction from a user;
- and
- one or more processors that, in response to receiving the user instruction via the operation part, perform operations including:
- (a) generating a first image through the image pickup part;
- (b) generating a first image file including the first image, first history information, and a first hash value generated on a basis of the first history information, the first history information including a first thumbnail generated at a time when the first image is generated;
- (c) generating a second image file including the first image, second history information, and a second hash value generated on a basis of the second history information, the second history information not including the first thumbnail generated at the time when the first image is generated;
- and
- (d) storing the first image file and the second image file in at least one storage device.
A method for controlling an image pickup apparatus, the method, being executed by one or more processors, the method comprising:
- (a) generating a first image through an image pickup part of the image pickup apparatus;
- (b) generating a first image file including the first image, first history information, and a first hash value generated on a basis of the first history information, the first history information including a first thumbnail generated at a time when the first image is generated;
- (c) generating a second image file including the first image, second history information, and a second hash value generated on a basis of the second history information, the second history information not including the first thumbnail generated at the time when the first image is generated;
- and
- (d) storing the first image file and the second image file in at least one storage device.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer-executable code of a program for executing a method for controlling an image pickup apparatus, the program including code for one or more processors to operate to perform the method comprising:
- (a) generating a first image through an image pickup part of the image pickup apparatus;
- (b) generating a first image file including the first image, first history information, and a first hash value generated on a basis of the first history information, the first history information including a first thumbnail generated at a time when the first image is generated;
- (c) generating a second image file including the first image, second history information, and a second hash value generated on a basis of the second history information, the second history information not including the first thumbnail generated at the time when the first image is generated;
- and
- (d) storing the first image file and the second image file in at least one storage device.
