Abstract

An address expansion circuit for configuring an address of a chip, where: the address expansion circuit is coupled to at least one address pin of the chip, and is configured to encode the address of the chip differently according to different state information of the at least one address pin; the address expansion circuit is configured to determine whether the state information of the address pin is one of a first state group in a first detection interval, and to determine whether the state information of the address pin is one of a second state group in a second detection interval; and the first state group comprises floating, and the second state group comprises at least one of a high-level state, a low-level state, coupling with a communication input pin of the chip, and coupling with a communication output pin of the chip.
