Disclosed are systems, methods, and computer-readable media for halting execution of an application that has hung within a reconfigurable processor. The reconfigurable processor includes an internal network coupling a plurality of arrays of configurable units, and one or more registers having an application ID field for each array. A hang detection circuit detects a hang condition on a first array. A network recovery circuit halts execution on the first array, sends an interrupt to a host computer over an external communication link, and compares the application ID field of the first array to the application ID field of a second array. When the application ID fields match, signifying that both arrays are running the same application, the network recovery circuit halts execution on the second array. When the application ID fields differ, a separate application running on the second array continues uninterrupted.
A method of halting execution of an application within a reconfigurable processor, the reconfigurable processor having an internal network and a plurality of arrays of configurable units coupled to the internal network, the plurality of arrays including a first array of configurable units and a second array of configurable units, the reconfigurable processor further including one or more registers having a first application ID field associated with the first array of configurable units and a second application ID field associated with the second array of configurable units, the method comprising:
A reconfigurable processor, comprising:
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a host computer coupled to a reconfigurable processor through an external communication link, cause the host computer to perform operations comprising:
