Abstract

This application provides example methods for invoking a service application programming interface (API) and example apparatuses, applied to a common application programming interface API framework, to invoke service APIs of different grant types. In one example method, an API information function entity provides, for an API invoker, an interface for invoking the service. API published by an API publishing function entity, and the method includes receiving an identifier of the service API and first information from the API publishing function entity where the first information includes a grant type indicating an authorization method for the service API. Method information associated with the grant type is sent to the API invoker, where the method information is for determining an invocation method for invoking the service API.
