System and method for determining potential issues with a software deployment

A system for determining potential issues with a software upgrade, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one non-transitory memory storing instructions to perform operations when executed by the at least one processor comprising:
• training a machine learning model on historic trouble ticket data;
• receiving data relating to a planned software upgrade;
• providing the received data to the trained machine learning model, wherein the trained machine learning model is configured to generate a tag value;
• calculating a risk score based on the tag value;
• comparing the risk score to a threshold;
• and
• subsequent to determining that the risk score exceeds the threshold:
• performing a fuzzy join of client data with data relating to the planned software upgrade;
• determining a sentiment score based on prior client communications associated with the client data;
• and
• determining an action plan to be performed relating to the planned software upgrade based on the risk score and the sentiment score;
• or
• subsequent to determining that the risk score does not exceed the threshold:
• terminating further processing for the planned software upgrade.

A method for determining potential issues with a software upgrade, comprising:

• training a machine learning model on historic trouble ticket data;
• receiving data relating to a planned software upgrade;
• providing the received data to the trained machine learning model, wherein the trained machine learning model is configured to generate a tag value;
• calculating a risk score based on the tag value;
• comparing the risk score to a threshold;
• and
• subsequent to determining that the risk score exceeds the threshold:
• performing a fuzzy join of client data with data relating to the planned software upgrade;
• determining a sentiment score based on prior client communications associated with the client data;
• and
• determining an action plan to be performed relating to the planned software upgrade based on the risk score and the sentiment score;
• or
• subsequent to determining that the risk score does not exceed the threshold:
• terminating further processing for the planned software upgrade.
