Industrial printing system, management server, and processing management method capable of processing at the optimal printing quality by using machine learning

A management server that manages jobs of component apparatuses in an industrial printing system that performs production printing, comprising:

• a database that stores characteristic data and processing result data of processed jobs and the processing performance data of the component apparatus;
• a learning unit configured to learn a model that shows relationship between characteristics of the jobs and processing results and performance of the component apparatus based on the characteristic data, the processing result data, and the processing achievement data stored in the database;
• and
• a processing management unit configured to output information on a job setting and a scheduling allocation for processing at optimal quality based on the model learned by the learning unit in accordance with instruction information that includes condition to be prioritized.

A processing management method executed by a management server that manages jobs of component apparatuses in an industrial printing system that performs production printing, comprising the steps of:

• storing characteristic data and processing result data of processed jobs and the processing performance data of the component apparatus;
• learning a model that shows relationship between characteristics of the jobs and processing results and performance of the component apparatus based on the characteristic data, the processing result data, and the processing achievement data that are stored;
• and
• outputting information on a job setting and a scheduling allocation for processing at optimal quality based on the learned model in accordance with instruction information that includes condition to be prioritized.
