Abstract
According to the present disclosure, there is provided a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a printing control program for extending a general-purpose printing program, the printing control program causing a computer to execute: acquisition processing of acquiring information indicating print languages usable by a printer; user interface processing of displaying a first user interface screen including, as options, the print languages indicated by the information, and accepting selection by a user regarding the print language; and transmission processing of transmitting, to the printer, print data in accordance with the selected print language.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a printing control program for extending a general-purpose printing program, the printing control program causing a computer to execute:
- acquisition processing of acquiring information indicating print languages usable by a printer;
- user interface processing of displaying a first user interface screen including, as options, the print languages indicated by the information, and accepting selection by a user regarding the print language;
- and
- transmission processing of transmitting, to the printer, print data in accordance with the selected print language.
An information processing apparatus including a general-purpose printing program and a printing control program for extending the general-purpose printing program, the information processing apparatus comprising, as functions of the printing control program:
- an acquisition processing section that acquires information indicating print languages usable by a printer;
- a user interface processing section that displays a first user interface screen including, as options, the print languages indicated by the information, and accepts selection by a user regarding the print language;
- and
- a transmission processing section that transmits, to the printer, print data in accordance with the selected print language.
A control method comprising:
- causing a computer including a general-purpose printing program and a printing control program for extending the general-purpose printing program to execute, by execution of the printing control program:
- acquisition processing of acquiring information indicating print languages usable by a printer;
- user interface processing of displaying a first user interface screen including, as options, the print languages indicated by the information, and accepting selection by a user regarding the print language;
- and
- transmission processing of transmitting, to the printer, print data in accordance with the selected print language.
