A virtual reality control device comprising:
- one or more sensors configured to sense sensor data allowing determining a 3D position of the virtual reality control device in 3D space;
- at least one rotary wheel switch arranged on a top surface of the virtual reality control device and configured to rotate around an axis at least substantially perpendicular to the top surface of the virtual reality control device;
- and
- an output interface configured to output the sensor data from the one or more sensors and information about a rotation of the at least one rotary wheel switch.
