Abstract
A portable display device is provided in which two display panels are joined to each other to form a single screen when two panel housings are unfolded from a folded state. The portable display device includes at least two panel housings and display panels that are mounted on the panel housings, respectively. When the panel housings are unfolded, the display panels are joined to each other to form a single screen. The distance between the display panels when the display panels are contiguous to each other is less than 3 mm and the distance between input units or between input sensors is less than 3 mm.
Claims10
A portable display device comprising:
- a first case and a second case configured to be foldable and unfoldable relative to each other about a folding portion;
- a display of an OLED type provided on the first case;
- an input device provided on the first case and configured to receive information;
- and
- a frame (side wall) 20b provided on the first case to cover a side surface of the first case and to support the display and the input device thereon,
- wherein the frame 20b is disposed on one edge opposite to the folding portion and two edges perpendicular to the folding portion,
- wherein the input device and the display are integrated with each other, three edges of the integrated input device and display are mounted on the frame 20b,
- wherein the integrated display and input device cover an upper surface of the first case,
- wherein a mask print is provided on one edge opposite to the folding portion and two edges perpendicular to the folding portion to make the edge of the input device opaque, and
- wherein pixels are further provided in the display, and signal supply lines connected to the pixels is provided at least one of two edges of the display perpendicular to the folding portion.
A portable display device comprising:
- a first case and a second case configured to be foldable and unfoldable relative to each other about a folding portion;
- a display of an OLED type provided on the second case;
- an input device provided on the second case and configured to receive information;
- and
- a frame (side wall) 20b provided on the second case to cover a side surface of the second case and to support the display and the input device thereon,
- wherein the frame 20b is disposed on one edge opposite to the folding portion and two edges perpendicular to the folding portion,
- wherein the input device and the display are integrated with each other, three edges of the integrated input device and display are mounted on the frame 20b,
- wherein the integrated display and input device cover an upper surface of the second case,
- wherein a mask print is provided on one edge opposite to the folding portion and two edges perpendicular to the folding portion to make the edge of the input device opaque, and
- wherein pixels are further provided in the display, and signal supply lines connected to the pixels is provided at least one of two edges of the display perpendicular to the folding portion.
