Abstract

A foreign matter capturing system includes a filter that is arranged in a gas flow passage in which a gas flows and that captures a foreign matter from the flowing gas, a guide member that is arranged in the gas flow passage on an upstream side in a flow direction of the gas with respect to the filter and that guides a gas to one side portion of the filter in an intersection direction intersecting the flow direction of the gas, and a moving member that is capable of moving the filter such that an upstream portion of a flow passage portion, in which the gas flows from the one side portion toward the other side portion of the filter, in the flow direction of the gas is wider than a downstream portion.
