A recording medium supply device includes: an accommodation portion that accommodates multiple stacked recording media; a first blowing unit that blows air at a first position on a periphery of the recording media accommodated in the accommodation portion; a second blowing unit that blows air at a second position different from the first position on the periphery of the recording media accommodated in the accommodation portion to overlap an air flow path through the first blowing unit; a first detection unit that detects a floating state of the recording media at the first position; a second detection unit that detects a floating state of the recording media at the second position; and an adjustment unit that adjusts an air volume by one of the first blowing unit and the second blowing unit based on detection results by the first detection unit and the second detection unit.
