Imaging apparatus

An imaging apparatus comprising:

• an apparatus main body;
• an imaging unit including an image sensor;
• a first support unit rotatably connected to the apparatus main body;
• a second support unit rotatably connected to both the first support unit and the imaging unit;
• a first driver configured to rotate the first support unit with respect to the apparatus main body about a first axis;
• a second driver configured to rotate the second support unit with respect to the first support unit about a second axis orthogonal to the first axis;
• a third driver configured to rotate the imaging unit with respect to the second support unit about a third axis orthogonal to both the first axis and the second axis;
• and
• a controller configured to, in a non-imaging mode, control at least one of the first driver, the second driver, and the third driver so that the image sensor is arranged closer to an air exhaust port provided in the apparatus main body than in an imaging standby state.
