Abstract
Provided is a method for detecting radar interference in a radar system. The method includes receiving a time-domain radar signal, performing a short-time Fourier transform (STFT) on the time-domain radar signal to generate a time-frequency representation of the radar signal, determining differences between consecutive segments of the time-frequency representation to identify frequency variations indicative of interference, and detecting radar interference based on the identified frequency variations

A method for detecting radar interference in a radar system, comprising:
- receiving a time-domain radar signal;
- performing a short-time Fourier transform, STFT, on the time-domain radar signal to generate a time-frequency representation of the radar signal;
- determining differences between consecutive segments of the time-frequency representation to identify frequency variations indicative of interference;
- and
- detecting radar interference based on the identified frequency variations.
An apparatus for detecting radar interference in a radar system, comprising processing circuitry configured to
- receive a time-domain radar signal;
- perform a STFT on the time-domain radar signal to generate a time-frequency representation of the radar signal;
- determine differences between consecutive segments of the time-frequency representation to identify frequency variations indicative of interference;
- and
- detect radar interference based on the identified frequency variations.
