Abstract

A wearable locator device is provided. A first wearable locator device includes an input device to establish the device as a leader device of a plurality of wearable locator devices. At least one second wearable locator device pairs with the first wearable locator device. Settings are established to trigger generation of a signal to cause the at least one second wearable locator device to generate an output upon detection of the at least one second wearable locator device being at or beyond a threshold distance from the first wearable locator device. If the at least one second wearable locator device is at or beyond the threshold distance, a signal can be provided to the at least one second wearable locator device to cause the at least one second wearable locator device to generate an output to guide the at least one second wearable locator device within the threshold distance.

Dependent claims

A wearable device, comprising:

a geolocator device configured to:
pair with at least one other wearable device;
establish a threshold distance from the wearable device for triggering transmission of a signal to the at least one other wearable device for guiding the at least one other wearable device;
and
transmit, upon detection that the at least one other wearable device is at or beyond the threshold distance from the wearable device, the signal to the at least one other wearable device to cause the at least one other wearable device to generate an output to facilitate guiding of the at least one other wearable device back within the threshold distance from the wearable device.

a first wearable device;
and
at least one second wearable device, wherein the at least one second wearable device is configured to:
pair with the first wearable device;
establish a threshold distance from the first wearable device for triggering transmission of a signal from the first wearable device to guide the at least second wearable device to the first wearable device;
receive, after detection that the at least second wearable device is at or beyond the threshold distance from the first wearable device, the signal from the first wearable device;
and
generate, in response to the signal, an output to facilitate guiding of the at least one second wearable device back within the threshold distance from the first wearable device.
