The present invention discloses the application of a brain organoid model for simulating the study of embryonic environmental pollutants on brain development damage, which belongs to the field of environmental exposure prevention and treatment technology. The brain organoid model includes at least group cells (SOX2+ cells), neurons (MAP2+ cells), deep neurons (TBR1+ cells) and immature neurons (TUJ1+ cells). The simulated exposure of environmental pollutants in brain organoids constructed by the invention and the subsequent mechanism exploration and treatment intervention research are a promising method to study the effects of environmental pollutants on human health. Compared with traditional toxicological testing methods, this technology has a number of advantages, helping researchers better understand the impact of environmental-related diseases on human health, and helping to develop new strategies for the prevention and treatment of these diseases.
