Abstract

Provided is a preparation liquid for analyzing hemoglobins, which preparation liquid does not produce a degradation product containing alkylphenol, and achieves a hemolytic performance equivalent to that of polyoxyethylene octylphenyl ether and highly accurate measurement of hemoglobins. Also provided is a method of measuring hemoglobins using the preparation liquid for analyzing hemoglobins. The present invention relates to a preparation liquid to be used for quantitatively analyzing hemoglobins by liquid chromatography, including a nonionic surfactant which does not produce alkylphenol as a degradation product, which includes one or more cyclic skeletons in the molecule, which includes a polyoxyethylene group, and which has an HLB value within the range of 6.5 to 15.5.
