Abstract
Provided is improving inspection accuracy of the exterior of a vehicle. An exterior inspection device includes a light source configured to project, onto at least a side surface of a vehicle, inspection light used for inspection of an exterior of the vehicle and having a color temperature and illuminance adjusted to a color of a body of the vehicle. The present technology can be applied to, for example, an exterior inspection device used for inspection of an exterior of a vehicle.

An exterior inspection device comprising a light source configured to project, onto at least a side surface of a vehicle, inspection light used for inspection of an exterior of the vehicle and having a color temperature and illuminance adjusted to a color of a body of the vehicle.
An inspection light control method comprising an information processing device controlling, according to a color of a body of a vehicle, a color temperature and illuminance of inspection light projected onto at least a side surface of the vehicle and used for inspection of an exterior of the vehicle.
