Abstract

A telescopic device includes slide member; a device base hold the slide member freely slidable in a longitudinal direction; a slide mechanism configured to receive a drive force to slide the slide member in the longitudinal direction from a drive source and cause the slide member to slide in the longitudinal direction; an oscillating member having at least one pair of rotation shafts in a direction perpendicularly intersecting a sliding direction of the slide member and configured to oscillate around the rotation shafts; and a support member rotatably supporting a rotation shaft of the oscillating member. The oscillating member is formed such that a space accommodating the end portion of the slide member is opened in an extension direction of the slide member so as not to constrain sliding and oscillating movement of the slide member.
