A sensor for measuring a pressure has an inner housing part, a diaphragm element, a measuring unit, and a feedthrough. The inner housing part and diaphragm element are hollow-cylindrical in shape and enclose a cavity. The inner housing part is delimited in an axial direction by a first housing end and a second housing end, and delimited in a radial direction by a housing wall. The diaphragm element is secured to the first housing end, and the feedthrough is secured to the second housing end and closes up the cavity. The measuring unit is arranged within the cavity, operates according to the piezoresistive measuring principle and is designed to generate measurement signals under the effect of the introduced pressure. The feedthrough conducts the measurement signals from the cavity to the outside of the inner housing part.
