Abstract
There is provided a force sensor including a substrate and a polymer material layer. The substrate has a circuit layout that includes a first electrode and a second electrode configured to form a capacitor therebetween. The polymer material layer covers at least on a space between the first electrode and the second electrode, and is used to change capacitance of the capacitor while being pressed. The force sensor is arranged inside a stem of an earphone for detecting the user input.
Claims20
An earphone, comprising:
- an inner space, surrounded by an inner surface;
- and
- a force sensor, contained inside the inner space and attached to only one side, which is a plane surface, of the inner surface,
- wherein the inner space is configured to contain a hard element, and
- when the hard element is contained inside the inner surface, a first side of the hard element is attached to the force sensor and a second side, opposite to the first side, of the hard element is attached to another side of the inner surface opposite to the only one side.

An earphone, comprising:
- a hollow tube, comprising:
- an inner space surrounded by an inner surface;
- and
- a depressed region;
- a force sensor, contained inside the inner space and attached to one side of the inner surface at the depressed region,
- wherein the inner space is configured to contain a hard element,
- when the hard element is contained inside the inner surface, a surface of the force sensor not facing the one side is attached to a first side of the hard element, and
- when the hard element is not contained in the inner surface, the surface of the force sensor not facing the one side is not attached to any element of the earphone.
