Abstract
A method, system, and apparatus for estimating the temperature through time of a fluid sample in a multi-sample holder is disclosed. The method includes modeling the temperature through time of one or more fluid samples in a connected region. The connected region includes a specified fluid sample. The modeling of the temperature through time is based on properties of the multi-sample holder and properties of the one or more fluid samples.
Claims24
A method for estimating the temperature through time of a specified fluid sample in a multi-sample holder, the method comprising:
- modeling the temperature through time of one or more fluid samples in a connected region, the connected region including the specified fluid sample, wherein the modeling is based on properties of the multi-sample holder and properties of the one or more fluid samples.
A method of optimizing placement of fluid samples in a multi-sample holder, the method comprising:
- modeling the temperature through time of one or more fluid samples in a connected region, wherein the modeling is based on properties of the multi-sample holder and properties of the one or more fluid sample;
- and
- optimizing the placement of samples based on the modeling to minimize temperature lag time between the fluid samples and the environment of the multi-sample holder.
A method of optimizing placement of fluid samples in a multi-sample holder, the method comprising:
- modeling the temperature through time of one or more fluid samples in a connected region, wherein the modeling is based on properties of the multi-sample holder and properties of the one or more fluid sample;
- and
- optimizing the placement of samples based on the modeling to minimize errors in the modeling of the temperature through time of the one or more fluid samples.
