Abstract
A rotary laser includes a housing in which a laser unit is arranged and having a leveling unit with at least one inclination sensor for determining an orientation of the laser unit relative to a reference surface. The at least one inclination sensor has an inclination sensor module housing arranged in the housing of the rotary laser, which has at least one planar support surface on at least one side surface for the planar alignment of the inclination sensor module housing in the housing.

A rotary laser, comprising:
- a housing;
- a laser unit arranged in the housing;
- and
- a leveling unit having at least one inclination sensor configured to determine an orientation of the laser unit relative to a reference surface,
- wherein the at least one inclination sensor has an inclination sensor module housing arranged in the housing, and
- wherein the inclination sensor module housing has at least one planar support surface on at least one side surface for precise planar alignment of the inclination sensor module housing in the housing.
