A compressor system including a cooling circuit including a first cooling valve to control flow of coolant, a second cooling valve to control flow of coolant, and a controller programmed to a) receive temperature readings; and b) if a determination is that any of the temperature readings are above an upper threshold, perform the steps of: i) open the first cooling valve for a first period of time; ii) close the first cooling valve and open the second cooling valve for a second period of time; iii) open and/or close both the first cooling valve and the second cooling valve for a third period of time; iv) receive updated temperature readings; and v) adjust one or more of the first period of time, the second period of time, and the third period of time based upon the updated temperature readings.
A compressor system comprising:
A controller comprising at least one processor and at least one memory, the controller connected to one or more temperature sensors, a first cooling valve, and a second cooling valve of a compressor, the at least one memory storing instructions that when executed by the at least one processor configures the controller to:
A method for controlling a compressor implemented by a controller comprising at least one processor and at least one memory, the controller in communication with one or more temperature sensors to measure one or more locations on the compressor and a first cooling valve and a second cooling valve for controlling a flow of coolant to one or more locations on the compressor, the method comprises:
