Valve Assembly for a Gas Burner

A valve assembly for a gas burner, the valve assembly comprising:

• a main body;
• a gas inlet conduit;,
• a gas outlet conduit;, and
• a regulation valve arranged between the gas inlet conduit and the gas outlet conduit, the regulation valve including:
• a main valve seat delimiting a main valve opening,
• an auxiliary valve seat delimiting an auxiliary valve opening;
• a stem that is axially movable between a first axial position and a second axial position, the stem including a main plug and an auxiliary plug;
• in the first axial position of the stem the main plug cooperates with the main valve seat to block the main valve opening so that the regulation valve is in a closed position to prevent gas to pass from the gas inlet conduit to the gas outlet conduit, in the second axial position of the stem the main plug does not cooperate with the main seat to permit gas to pass from the gas inlet conduit to the gas outlet conduit;
• in the first axial position of the stem the auxiliary plug does not cooperate with the auxiliary valve seat, in the second axial position of the stem the auxiliary plug cooperates with the auxiliary valve seat to block the auxiliary valve opening;
• and
• a bypass conduit through which gas passes when the stem is in the second axial position, the bypass conduit being located downstream the main valve opening and being sized to establish a minimum flow of gas between the gas inlet conduit and the gas outlet conduit.
