Abstract
A protruding member is disposed inside a straight pipe disposed on a downstream side of a bend for changing a direction of a flow channel, to partially reduce a flow channel cross-sectional area of the straight pipe, and includes: a top positioned between a first end facing upstream and a second end facing downstream to minimize the flow channel cross-sectional area of the straight pipe; and a projection that protrudes from a region between the top and the second end toward a center of the straight pipe as viewed along a direction of a center axis of the straight pipe but does not protrude beyond the top.
