Abstract
The system comprises a fluid flow pipe; a valve, comprising a valve stem configured to be mobile along a first horizontal axis in the flow pipe between an open position in which fluid is able to flow in the flow pipe and a closed position in which fluid is unable to flow in the flow pipe; a valve jack, having an actuating rod connected to the valve, the rod being configured to translate along the first horizontal axis to move the valve stem between the open position and the closed position, and a port mechanically connected to the rod, the port being configured to be rotated by an actuator. The port is rotatable about a second vertical axis orthogonal to the first horizontal axis.
Claims21
A piping system to recover fluid from a well or to inject fluid in a well, comprising:
- at least a fluid flow pipe;
- at least a valve, comprising a valve stem configured to be mobile along a first horizontal axis in the flow pipe between at least one open position in which fluid is able to flow in the flow pipe and a closed position in which fluid is unable to flow in the flow pipe;
- and for the or each valve:
- a valve jack, having an actuating rod connected to the valve, the rod being configured to translate along the first horizontal axis to move the valve stem between the at least one open position and the closed position, and a port mechanically connected to the rod, the port being configured to be rotated by an actuator to translate the rod,
- wherein the port is rotatable about a second vertical axis orthogonal to the first horizontal axis.
