Abstract
A temporary gate module for a temporary barrier system may include a temporary gate unit, and one or more ballast units fixedly coupled to the temporary gate unit, the one or more ballast units comprising: a base portion, at least one lifting feature defined along a bottom of the base portion, a plurality of guide posts disposed along a top of the base portion, and a mounting bracket detachably coupling the base portion to the temporary gate unit. A temporary barrier system may include one or more temporary gate modules, one or more temporary ballast assemblies, one or more temporary barrier posts, one or more temporary barrier panels, and one or more clips configured to couple the one or more temporary barrier panels to the one or more temporary barrier posts.
Claims27
A temporary gate module for a temporary barrier system, the temporary gate module comprising:
- a temporary gate unit;
- and
- one or more ballast units configured to be fixedly coupled to the temporary gate unit, the one or more ballast units comprising:
- a base portion having a mass that stabilizes the temporary gate unit when secured thereto;
- at least one lifting feature defined along a bottom of the base portion;
- a plurality of guide posts disposed along a top of the base portion;
- a mounting bracket configured to detachably couple the base portion to the temporary gate unit, the mounting bracket comprising:
- a base coupling portion configured to adjustably receive the plurality of guide posts;
- and
- a gate coupling portion configured to fixedly couple the mounting bracket to the temporary gate unit.
A temporary gate module for a temporary barrier system, the temporary gate module comprising:
- a temporary gate unit;
- and
- one or more ballast units configured to be fixedly coupled to the temporary gate unit, the one or more ballast units comprising:
- a molded block portion having a mass that stabilizes the temporary gate unit when secured thereto;
- and
- a plurality of guide posts extending laterally from the molded block portion and configured to be adjustably coupled to a block coupling portion of the temporary gate unit in at least one of a vertical and horizontal position.
