Abstract
A formliner system includes a support having a first surface, a second surface opposing the first surface, and a side surface extending between the first and second surfaces to form a support edge. A design layer provides a mold and overlies and is attached to the first surface of the support. A carrier is attached to the support and positioned within a recess extending from the support edge into the support. The carrier is configured to provide a connection point for transport of the formliner system.
Claims15
A formliner system comprising:
- a support comprising a first surface, a second surface opposing the first surface, and a side surface extending between the first and second surfaces to form a support edge;
- a design layer comprising a mold, the design layer overlying and attached to the first surface of the support;
- and
- a carrier attached to the support and positioned within a recess extending from the support edge into the support, wherein the carrier is configured to provide a connection point for transport of the formliner system.

A method of transporting a formliner system comprising:
- providing a formliner system including a support and a design layer, the design layer comprising a mold, overlying and attached to the support, wherein the formliner system includes an integrated carrier formed therein;
- attaching an intermediate element to the carrier;
- lifting the formliner system using the intermediate element attached to the carrier;
- and
- thereafter moving the formliner system from a first location to a second location using the intermediate element attached to the carrier.
