Methods and systems for pattern oriented tile installation

A method, comprising:

• determining one or more tile installation parameters;
• determining a tile pattern specific code based on the one or more tile installation parameters;
• determining a suction cup configuration based on the tile pattern specific code;
• arranging a tile setting device of a tile installation system according to the suction cup configuration;
• installing tiles, from a tile dispensing system of the tile installation system arranged according to the one or more tile installation parameters, to a mounting surface using the tile setting device, wherein the tile setting device comprises a control module coupled to an array module, wherein the array module comprises an array of suction cups arranged based on the suction cup configuration and wherein the control module is configured to provide vacuum suction to the array of suction cups of the array module.

A tile dispensing system, comprising:

• a tile dispensing crate comprising:
• a bottom with an opening configured to receive a lifting system;
• four side walls coupled to the bottom;
• and
• a removable base panel configured to sit upon the bottom within the four side walls, wherein the removable base panel is larger in size than the opening of the bottom;
• and
• one or more tile dispensing cartons arranged in a stack configured to sit within the tile dispensing crate, wherein each tile dispensing carton comprises a box with an open top, wherein:
• a set of stacked tile layers is arranged within each of the one or more tile dispensing cartons according to the one or more tile installation parameters;
• and
• the one or more tile installation parameters comprise one or more of tile size, tile type, tile pattern, and grout joint thickness.
