A fabric comprising:
- an exterior side;
- and
- an interior side, wherein the exterior side and the interior side have a silver nanoparticle coating that selectively absorbs and transmits UV light.
A method of manufacturing a fabric having a silver nanoparticle coating that selectively absorbs and transmits UV light comprising the steps of:
- synthesizing a silver nanoparticle solution;
- applying a first solution to the fabric;
- and
- applying the silver nanoparticle solution to the fabric.
