Clothes treatment apparatus and clothes treatment apparatus control method

A laundry treating apparatus comprising:

• a cabinet;
• a drum disposed inside the cabinet and configured to accommodate laundry therein;
• a circulation duct configured to guide air discharged from the drum to the drum;
• a fan disposed inside the circulation duct and configured to move air;
• a heat exchanger part disposed inside the circulation duct and configured to condense and heat air;
• a water cleaning part configured to clean the heat exchanger part with water supplied from an external water source;
• a water collector disposed outside the circulation duct and configured to collect water condensed in the circulation duct or supplied to the circulation duct;
• and
• a circulation cleaning part configured to clean the heat exchanger part with water collected in the water collector,
• wherein the water cleaning part includes:
• a water valve coupled to a rear surface of the cabinet and configured to receive water from the external water source;
• a water pipe coupled to the water valve and configured to guide water;
• and
• a water nozzle connected to the water pipe and configured to supply water into the circulation duct to clean the heat exchanger part,
• wherein the water valve is disposed at a location lower than the drum and higher than the heat exchanger part or the circulation duct.

A laundry treating apparatus comprising:

• a cabinet;
• a drum disposed inside the cabinet and configured to accommodate laundry therein;
• a circulation duct configured to guide air discharged from the drum to the drum;
• a fan disposed inside the circulation duct and configured to move air;
• a heat exchanger part disposed inside the circulation duct and configured to condense and heat air;
• and
• a water cleaning part configured to clean the heat exchanger part with water supplied from an external water source,
• wherein the water cleaning part includes:
• a water valve coupled to the cabinet and configured to receive water from the external water source;
• a water pipe coupled to the water valve and configured to guide water;
• and
• a water nozzle connected to the water pipe at a location higher than the circulation duct and configured to supply water into the circulation duct to clean the heat exchanger part,
• wherein the water nozzle is configured to at least temporarily accommodate water supplied from the water pipe therein and discharge water therefrom in a width direction of the heat exchanger part.

A laundry treating apparatus comprising:

• a cabinet;
• a drum disposed inside the cabinet and configured to accommodate laundry therein;
• a circulation duct configured to guide air discharged from the drum to the drum;
• a fan disposed inside the circulation duct and configured to move air;
• a heat exchanger part disposed inside the circulation duct and configured to cool air to condense moisture and heat air;
• a water cleaning part configured to receive water from an external water source and clean the heat exchanger part;
• a water collector disposed outside the circulation duct and configured to collect water condensed in the circulation duct or delivered from the circulation duct therein;
• a circulation cleaning part configured to clean the heat exchanger part with water collected in the water collector;
• and
• a controller configured to control the heat exchanger part, the circulation cleaning part, and the water cleaning part,
• wherein the circulation cleaning part includes a drainage pump mounted in the water collector and configured to discharge water from the water collector,
• wherein the water cleaning part includes a water valve coupled to the cabinet and configured to receive water from the external water source,
• wherein the controller is configured to close the water valve or stop controlling the water valve when a water level of the water collector does not rise for a predetermined time period or longer, or remains below a reference water level despite the water valve being opened.
