Abstract

An annealing method for a hot-rolled steel strip includes predicting the heating temperature of the rapid heating device, or both the heating temperature of the rapid heating device and a heating condition for the heating zone or the like so as to reduce the difference between a predicted value and a target value of the annealing temperature for the hot-rolled steel strip. An electrical-steel-sheet production model, which has been trained in advance through machine learning by using training data including temperature distributions of slabs or hot-rolled steel strips and the magnetic properties of electrical steel sheets, is used. A method for producing an electrical steel sheet includes the steps of predicting the annealing temperature for a hot-rolled steel strip to reduce variations in magnetic properties, setting the predicted annealing temperature as a target value, and reducing the difference between the target and predicted values of the annealing temperature.
