Abstract
Provided is a lubricating oil composition including: a paraffin-based synthetic oil (A); an α-olefin (B); a glyceryl ether (C) having a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 16 to 20 carbon atoms; a monohydric alcohol (D) having 8 to 20 carbon atoms; and a phenol-based antioxidant (E), the lubricating oil composition achieving both of hydrolysis resistance and lubricity.
Claims14
A lubricating oil composition, comprising:
- a paraffin-based synthetic oil (A);
- an α-olefin (B);
- a glyceryl ether (C) having a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 16 to 20 carbon atoms;
- a monohydric alcohol (D) having 8 to 20 carbon atoms;
- and
- a phenol-based antioxidant (E).
A method of producing a lubricating oil composition, comprising mixing a paraffin-based synthetic oil (A), an α-olefin (B), a glyceryl ether (C) having a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 16 to 20 carbon atoms, a monohydric alcohol (D) having 8 to 20 carbon atoms, and a phenol-based antioxidant (E).
