Abstract
The present invention relates to polymer compounds containing hemp and/or components of hemp, and methods for producing such polymer compounds.
Claims15
A hemp-based plastic composition comprising about 10%-40% hemp material, wherein said hemp material comprises particulate hemp material comprising at least one of:
- a post-extraction material, a waste product of a manufacturing process, and a material derived discarded or rejected harvest;
- and wherein the hemp material is combined with a thermoplastic polymeric material.
