A rippled β-sheet comprising (L)-(VVGGVV)k (SEQ ID NO:1) dimerized with (D)-(vvggvv)k (SEQ ID NO:2), wherein k is an integer of 1 or greater.
A single-component rippled β-sheet comprising VVGgvvk (SEQ ID NO:3), wherein k is an integer of 1 or greater.
A single-component rippled β-sheet comprising cyclic FKFGGfefggk (SEQ ID NO:4), wherein k is an integer of 1 or greater.
A method comprising:
- producing a polypeptide comprising, consisting essentially of, or consisting of (L)-(VVGGVV)k (SEQ ID NO:1);
- and
- producing a polypeptide comprising, consisting essentially of, or consisting of, (D)-(vvggvv)k (SEQ ID NO:2),
- wherein k is an integer of 1 or greater.
A method comprising combining VVGgvvk (SEQ ID NO:3) under conditions in which rippled β-sheets are formed, wherein k is an integer of 1 or greater.
A method comprising combining cyclic FKFGGfefggk (SEQ ID NO:4) under conditions in which rippled β-sheets are formed, wherein k is an integer of 1 or greater.
