Abstract
The present disclosure provides a process for producing isophorone nitrile comprising reacting a mixture comprising the valuable substances a) isophorone and b) at least one keto- and optionally hydroxyl-containing hydrocarbon having a molecular weight of 178-276 g/mol with hydrogen cyanide to afford isophorone nitrile. In some embodiments, the mixture includes at least two different keto- and optionally hydroxyl-containing hydrocarbons having a molecular weight of 178-276 g/mol.

Process for producing isophorone nitrile comprising reacting a mixture comprising the valuable substances
- a) isophorone and
- b) at least one keto- and optionally hydroxyl-containing hydrocarbon having a molecular weight of 178-276 g/mol
- with hydrogen cyanide to afford isophorone nitrile.
