Abstract
A mineral-resin composite monofilament comprises mineral filaments other than glass filaments embedded in a crosslinked resin, the monofilament having a length within a range from 5 to 85 mm, a diameter ranging from 0.2 to 1.3 mm, and a degree of porosity of less than 2%. A concrete comprises these monofilaments as reinforcement, and a process for obtaining these monofilaments is disclosed.
