Abstract
A combination two post vehicle and vehicle component lift includes a pair of upstanding post assemblies, each having a vehicle lift assembly and vehicle component lift assembly. Each lift assembly includes a lift carriage having lift arms articulated thereto. The lift assemblies are operated in coordination to lift and lower a vehicle and a vehicle component in relation to the vehicle.
Claims21
A lift apparatus for lifting and lowering a vehicle and a vehicle component, the lift apparatus comprising:
- first and second lift post assemblies positionable in laterally spaced relationship;
- first and second primary lift assemblies each engaged along at least one primary side of a respective one of the first and second lift post assemblies, the first and second primary lift assemblies each including at least one primary lift carriage that enables movement along the respective one of the first and second lift post assemblies to selectively raise and lower a plurality of primary lift arms connected to the at least one primary lift carriage of the first and second primary lift assemblies;
- first and second secondary lift assemblies each engaged along at least one secondary side of a respective one of the first and second lift post assemblies, the first and second secondary lift assemblies each including at least one secondary lift carriage that enables movement along the respective one of the first and second lift post assemblies to selectively raise and lower a plurality of secondary lift arms connected to the at least one secondary lift carriage of the first and second secondary lift assemblies;
- wherein:
- the at least one secondary side of the first and second lift post assemblies is a distinct side of the first and second lift post assemblies from the at least one primary side of the first and second lift post assemblies.

A lift apparatus for lifting and lowering a vehicle and a vehicle component, the lift apparatus comprising:
- first and second lift post assemblies positionable in laterally spaced relationship, the first and second lift post assemblies each including a primary guide track extending vertically therein along a primary side thereof and at least one secondary guide track extending vertically therein along at least one secondary side thereof;
- first and second primary lift carriages each slidably positioned within the primary guide track of a respective one of the first and second lift post assemblies to selectively raise and lower a plurality of primary lift arms connected to the first and second primary lift carriages;
- at least one first secondary lift carriage and at least one second secondary lift carriage each slidably positioned within the at least one secondary guide track of a respective one of the first and second lift post assemblies to selectively raise and lower a plurality of secondary lift arms connected to the at least one first secondary lift carriage and the at least one second secondary lift carriage;
- wherein:
- the at least one secondary side of the first and second lift post assemblies is a distinct side of the first and second lift post assemblies from the primary side of the first and second lift post assemblies.

A lift apparatus for lifting and lowering a vehicle and a vehicle component, the lift apparatus comprising:
- a first lift post assembly supported by a base thereof and upstanding from the base, the first lift post assembly having at least one first primary guide track extending vertically therein along at least one primary side of the first lift post assembly, and at least one first secondary guide track extending vertically therein along at least one secondary side of the first lift post assembly;
- at least one first primary lift carriage moveable along the at least one first primary guide track, a plurality of first primary lift arms connected to the at least one first primary lift carriage, and a first primary actuator assembly engaged with the at least one first primary lift carriage to selectively raise and lower the plurality of first primary lift arms along the first lift post assembly;
- and
- at least one first secondary lift carriage moveable along the at least one first secondary guide track, a plurality of first secondary lift arms connected to the at least one first secondary lift carriage, and a secondary actuator assembly engaged with the at least one first secondary lift carriage to selectively raise and lower the plurality of first secondary lift arms along the first lift post assembly.

A lift apparatus for lifting and lowering a vehicle and a vehicle component, the lift apparatus comprising:
- a first lift post assembly supported by a base thereof and upstanding from the base, the first lift post assembly having a first primary guide track extending vertically therein along a primary side of the first lift post assembly, and at least one first secondary guide track extending vertically therein along at least one secondary side of the first lift post assembly that is not the primary side;
- a first primary lift carriage moveable along the first primary guide track, a plurality of first primary lift arms connected to the first primary lift carriage, and a first primary actuator assembly engaged with the first primary lift carriage to selectively raise and lower the plurality of first primary lift arms along the first lift post assembly;
- and
- at least one first secondary lift carriage moveable along the at least one first secondary guide track, a plurality of first secondary lift arms connected to the at least one first secondary lift carriage, and a secondary actuator assembly engaged with the at least one first secondary lift carriage to selectively raise and lower the plurality of first secondary lift arms along the first lift post assembly.
