Hydration sensing water bottle with consumption tracking and multi-sensor cap

A water bottle cap, comprising:

• a consumption verification module comprises an accelerometer and a gyroscope, wherein the consumption verification module is configured to provide movement metrics and indicate whether or not the water bottle is resting or moving;
• a sensor cradle extending downwardly from a bottom surface of the water bottle cap, wherein the sensor cradle includes a plurality of prongs;
• a plurality of total dissolved solids (TDS) sensors embedded in or attached to tips of the plurality of prongs;
• and
• a time of flight sensor embedded in the sensor cradle and surrounded by the plurality of prongs;
• wherein the water bottle cap is configured to attach to a top of a water bottle body;
• and
• wherein the water bottle is configured to perform intake event verification to verify when fluid intake occurs and the amount of fluid ingested based on the consumption verification module, the plurality of TDS sensors, and the time of flight sensor.

A system including a water bottle for determining hydration effectiveness, comprising:

• a water bottle body;
• a water bottle cap configured to attach to a top of the water bottle body;
• a water bottle base configured to attach to a bottom of the water bottle body;
• one or more total dissolved solids (TDS) sensors, one or more time of flight sensors, one or more pH sensors, and/or one or more temperature sensors included within the water bottle cap;
• one or more intra-device antennas positioned in the water bottle cap;
• one or more external network antennas positioned in the water bottle base;
• and
• a wearable device and a liquid intelligence platform in communication with the water bottle base;
• wherein the one or more intra-device antennas are configured to transmit sensor data generated by the one or more total dissolved solids (TDS) sensors, the one or more time of flight sensors, and/or the one or more temperature sensors to the water bottle base;
• wherein the water bottle includes a consumption verification module comprising an accelerometer and a gyroscope, wherein the consumption verification module is configured to provide movement metrics and indicate whether or not the water bottle is resting or moving, and wherein the movement metrics include pitch, yaw, and roll measurements of the water bottle;
• wherein the one or more external network antennas are operable to receive wearable sensor data from the wearable device, wherein the wearable sensor data includes biometric and/or physiological metrics;
• wherein the one or more external network antennas are configured to transmit the sensor data to the wearable device and a liquid intelligence platform, wherein the sensor data includes the wearable sensor data;
• and
• wherein the liquid intelligence platform is operable to compute an absorption factor based on the sensor data, wherein the intelligence platform is operable to apply a convergence criterion to the absorption factor in order to compute a hydration effectiveness score (HES).
