Abstract
An improved apparatus for storing articles in the form of a storage container having a grid system of removable dividers which use a system of a boss and a corresponding venting divot to ensure positive engagement of such dividers, together with fixed supports designed to both suspend a plurality of storage bins in positive engagement with a lid having a series of baffles to restrict the movement of the contents within as well as form a storage space below said storage bins.
Claims5
An essential storage box comprising a vessel, a lid, and a plurality of dividers, wherein:
- a. said vessel is comprised of:
- i. a substantially cuboid-shaped vessel body comprised of five sides, comprising a floor, a left side, a right side, a rear side and a front side;
- ii. wherein each of said five sides has at least four edges forming a substantially rectangular overall shape;
- iii. wherein said left side, said right side, said rear side, and said front side are all operatively attached along one of each said left, right, rear and front side's said edges to one each of said floor's four edges, forming a substantially enclosed vessel;
- iv. wherein said vessel further comprises a plurality of divider rows extending from said left and right sides and running parallel to said front side and:
- 1. wherein said plurality of divider rows form at least one notched channel on said plurality of divider rows;
- 2. wherein said at least one notched channel further comprises at least one divot along the upper third of said at least one notched channel;
- and
- v. wherein said vessel further comprises a plurality of gutters in said floor of said body.
