Packaging item with fragrance diffusor and packaged food product

A packaging item (1) comprising:

• (i) At least one tridimensional internal packaging element having a peripheral wall closed at one end with a closing wall to define a cavity for a product, and
• (ii) At least one tridimensional external packaging element having a peripheral wall closed at one end with a closing wall to define a cavity having a shape that matches the external shape of the internal packaging element,
• the external packaging element slidably connected to the internal packaging element, in order to open or close the packaging item, and wherein the peripheral wall of the at least one tridimensional external packaging element comprises at least one fragrance vent allowing passage of volatile compounds entrapped in packaging contents together with gas contained within the cavity for the product, to outside of the packaging item, when the at least one tridimensional external packaging element is slid over the at least one tridimensional internal packaging element during closing of the packaging item.
