Abstract
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a strapping machine strap-feeding assembly with features that enable adjustment of the strap-feeding assembly to accommodate different strap sizes.
Claims20
A module for a strapping machine, the module comprising:
- a frame;
- a wheel supported by the frame;
- an actuator operably connected to the wheel and configured to rotate the wheel;
- and
- a strap-guiding assembly adjacent to the wheel and comprising:
- a first guide member mounted to the frame;
- a second guide member mounted to the frame opposite the first guide member, wherein a strap channel is defined between the first and second guide members, wherein the strap channel has a strap-channel width;
- a first guide roller mounted to the first guide member;
- and
- a second guide roller mounted to the second guide member,
- wherein the first guide roller and the second guide roller each extend at least partially into the strap channel such that a distance between the first guide roller and the second guide roller is less than the strap-channel width.
