Abstract
An aircraft propulsion system assembly includes a propulsion system and a control assembly. The propulsion system includes a propulsor, an engine, and an electrical assembly. The engine includes a rotational assembly coupled to the propulsor. The electrical assembly includes an electric motor coupled to the propulsor. The control assembly includes a propulsor sensor assembly, an electric motor sensor, channel A control units, and a channel B control unit. The channel A control units includes an engine control unit for the engine and an electric motor control unit for the electric motor. The channel B control unit is connected in signal communication with the propulsor sensor assembly, the electric motor sensor, the engine control unit, and the electric motor control unit.
