Abstract

The present technology relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program that enable information for avoiding danger to be presented more favorably to a user of a moving body such as a vehicle. An information processing apparatus according to the present technology includes a prediction unit which predicts movement information indicating a future movement of an object around a moving body; a calculation unit which calculates a degree of danger of the object on the basis of the movement information; and a presentation control unit which controls, on the basis of the degree of danger, a notification sound that is presented to a user of the moving body and that corresponds to a type of the object. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a moving body such as a vehicle.
